Our Process
Our many years of event design experience have helped us refine our process to capture perfectly your vision and personality in our floral and decor. Every step is taken with you in mind and with the end goal of delivering you that speechless moment you've dreamt of when our work is revealed.
Inquiry
Once you've perused our galleries, read testimonials, and performed your due diligence, give us a call, shoot us an email or fill out a contact form and we'll get back to you within 24-36 hours. We respond quickly because we know you're juggling a million things at once and we'd like to put your mind at ease.
Getting to Know Each Other
We'll collect the basic important information for your event and share some info about us to be sure we're a good match. If our calendar is free on your event day and the stars align, we'll schedule a complimentary consultation.
Complimentary Consultation
This is the fun part when we host a consultation in our studio and get down to the nitty gritty about your vision. Botanica consultations are led by our Creative Director, Zoe Gallina and/or our owner, Ian Prosser. Bring inspirational photos, Pinterest boards, magazine cut-outs or paint/linen swatches to help guide us.
Proposal Designing
Using everything we've gathered from our meeting, we'll build a customized proposal detailing all ideas and pricing options within 7-10 business days of your consultation. In being respectful of your budget, we'll include multiple levels of pricing and floral design recommendations that won't disrupt the integrity and quality of your flowers.
Making it Official
Once you've reviewed our proposal, we'll make things official by securing your event date with us. We'll then prepare an agreement and deposit schedule and any requirements for your big day. Don't worry - you will still be able make changes to your design proposal up until 3 weeks before your event date!
Polishing and Fine-Tuning
You'll have the opportunity to revisit and tweak your proposal as many times as you'd like up until three weeks before the event date. Any changes after that three week mark may sacrifice the quality and availability of your flowers and decor.
Test Run
Here's where the real fun begins! If you're confident in your proposal, we'll invite you to the studio for a sample viewing of your table design. We like to show your sample no earlier than 6-8 weeks before your event date to make sure your flowers are in season for the sample.
Making Magic
Once you've approved and finalized all the designs, leave the rest to us.
